2013 Dodge Dart Performance
The 2013 Dodge Dart will be available in five trims- SE, SXT, Rallye,
Limited and the performance-tuned R/T. The Dart redefines performance by
providing the most diverse powertrain lineup in its class. Choose from a
new 16-valve 2.0L (160hp) Tigershark engine with Variable Valve Timing,
a 16-valve 1.4L (160hp & 184 lb-ft torque) MultiAir Intercooled
Turbo engine (both available for all trims except the R/T), and a new
16-valve 2.4L (184hp) Tigershark MultiAir four-cylinder engine
(exclusive to the R/T). All are tuned to deliver excellent horsepower
and torque ratings, as well as an optimal balance of power and
efficiency. A six-speed manual transmission is available with all engine
options, with an optional six-speed dual-clutch transmission for the
1.4L engine and an optional six-speed automatic transmission for the
2.0L and 2.4L engines. Final fuel economy numbers have yet to be
released, but Dodge has been touting that the 1.4L/dual-clutch combo
will reach the magic 40 mpg number - stay tuned... |
