Available in six different trims - Laredo,
Laredo X, Limited, Overland, Overland Summit and SRT8 - the 2012 Jeep Grand
Cherokee offers several engine options, though a 5-Speed Automatic Transmission
is standard across the board. 2WD Laredo, Limited and Overland trims are powered
by a 3.6L V6 VVT Engine that pumps out 290hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. 4WD models
get a 5.7 L V8 VVT Engine with MDS that produces 360hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.
The trim-topping SRT8 4WD out-muscles every other trim with a brawny 6.4L V8
HEMI Engine with MDS, churning out an absurd 470hp and 465 lb-ft of torque.
You'll never have to worry about not having enough power to tackle the toughest
of terrain.
Building upon its legendary status as the leader in 4WD
mastery, the 2012 Grand Cherokee comes equipped with a Quadra-Lift Air
Suspension system and Selec-Terrain system that delivers a new level of Jeep
off-road capability. 2WD Grand Cherokee models get an EPA-estimated 17 city/23
hwy, while the 4WD versions get 16 city/23 hwy. Models equipped with the 5.7L V8
engine get 13 city/20 hwy. And lastly, owners of the 6.4L V8 SRT8 trim can
expect to get 12 city/18 hwy. Also, when properly equipped, the 2012 Jeep Grand
Cherokee can tow an unsurpassed 7,400

Every Grand Cherokee comes equipped with the revolutionary
Uconnect system that allows drivers to make calls, find destinations and access
their favorite music. An AM/FM/CD/MP3/SiriusXM audio system with audio jack
comes standard on the Laredo. The Laredo X, however, gets an upgraded Media
Center with a 40 GB Hard Drive (6,700 song capacity) with 6.5" Touchscreen
display and remote USB Port. The Limited, Overland and Overland Summit get an
even more advanced media center by adding GPS Navigation and a year of Sirius
Travel Link service.
Other convenience features include a Dual-Zone
Automatic Temperature Control System, Cabin Air Filtration, an available Rear
DVD Entertainment System with 9" DVD Screen, and a CommandView dual-pane
