The
Chrysler 300 comes in base, Limited, S-V6, C, S-V8, and SRT8 trim levels. The
base, Limited and S-V6 trims are powered by a 292hp 3.6-liter V6 24-valve engine
with Variable Valve Timing. The C and S-V8 trims come with a 363hp 5.7-liter
HEMI V8 MDS engine with dual Variable Valve Timing. The SRT8 sports a 465hp
6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with Fuel Saver Technology.
The base, C, S-V8
and SRT8 engines are mated with a five-speed automatic transmission with
AutoStick for clutchless manual shifting, while the Limited and S-V6 trims are
standard equipped with an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission with
E-Shifter (available as an option on other trims), improving fuel economy to 19
city/31 highway MPG. All trims come standard with rear-wheel drivetrain, with
all-wheel drive available on the Limited, S-V6, C and S-V8

Standard
features of the base Chrysler 300 include Power heated exterior mirrors with
manual fold-away, Sentry Key theft deterrent system, air conditioning with Dual
Zone Auto Temp Control, cabin air filtering system, power windows and locks,
automatic headlamps, and tilt/telescopic steering column. The standard
six-speaker audio system with remote USB port and one-year SiriusXM Satellite
Radio subscription can be upgraded all the way up to a new 19-speaker Harmon
Kardon system.
Standard safety features of the 2012 Chrysler 300 include
items like advanced multi-stage front passenger airbags, Tire Pressure
Monitoring System, active head restraints, Electronic Stability Control (ESC),
